I have been a certified child life specialist over 30 years. I started my career in child life after receiving my bachelor's degree in psychology and child development at the University of North Texas. While completing my fellowship at Children's Health in Dallas, I finished my master's degree in human development and family studies under the guidance of Dr. Garry Landreth, with a focus in parent education and play therapy. I worked at Children's Health in every department including the emergency room, trauma, and the ICU.
I provide therapeutic support to  children, teens, and adults with a serious illness.
I have a teaching degree for 4-8th grade and substitute at Lake Travis ISD.
I am a mother of 4, a "Mimi" of one, and loved to paint, wood work, and garden.
